History: The facility was originally designed for the construction and testing of World War II fighter plane engines. GE Ultrasound converted the building into their medical testing facility for the production of ultrasound machines.

Scope: Replacement of structural steel column and beam that had lost its structural integrity through corrosion.

Challenge: Developing shoring support system for roof and floor loads during restoration.

Result: Installation of galvanized structural steel and re-anchorage of roof and floor.
