Maimi-Dade County Courthouse
Hisotry: Located in Miami, Florida, the Miami-Dade County Courthouse was completed in 1928. When originally designed by A. Teneyck Brown, the Courthouse was the tallest building in Florida.
Scope: Investigation of terra cotta masonry failure and access for design professional inspections.
Challenge: Rigging for swing stage access was challenging due to terra cotta pitched roof.
Result: Design of rigging system through wall and window openings provided access to defective terra cotta pieces.
